Trip Overview

This fast & light Mount Olympus guided hike is designed as a one-day summit attempt to Mytikas (2,918 m) for guests with exceptional fitness and solid mountain movement skills.

We move efficiently from the start, manage effort and fueling, and keep breaks short so energy remains available for the upper mountain. The terrain can be steep, loose, and exposed in places—this is a demanding objective, not a casual hike.

The final plan is confirmed by email after a quick readiness check, and the guide may adjust the summit choice, timing, or route at any point for safety. This is a booking request—not an instant confirmation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes—under specific conditions.
If you trail run regularly but haven’t been on a mountain like Olympus before, Fast & Light can be suitable only if you meet the requirements below and we confirm readiness by email:
Fitness: You can sustain a strong uphill pace for hours (and keep moving efficiently on the descent), aiming for a sub-10-hour objective window depending on conditions.
Footwork: You are confident on loose rock, steep ground, and uneven terrain (not just smooth trails).
Exposure tolerance: You have no significant fear of heights and stay composed on narrow/steep sections.
Discipline: You can follow a tight plan (short breaks, fueling on the move, turnaround times).
Safety-first mindset: You accept that the summit objective may change—Skolio can replace Mytikas if conditions or performance require it.
If any of these are uncertain, we’ll recommend a more suitable summit format first—and you can still progress to Fast & Light later.

You should be able to sustain a strong hiking pace (minimum vertical pace +350-400m/hour) for many hours with minimal breaks. We confirm readiness by email before accepting the request.
